Smooth path that starts from Asciano to Chiusure across the road to San Giovanni d'Asso, reaches the heights of Pecorile which offers a splendid view of Crete, which on a clear dry days allow a view of Siena on the horizon. Later, turn right at the junction Chiusure and before long you reach the above village, from which you can look back on Accona desert and its wonderful gem: the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore. Taking the path downhill to the Abbey, there is a crossroad of Poggio alle Monache. Turning right, you walk back towards Asciano with a process characterized by continual ascents and descents.
