The church of the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament is situated in Montisi. Already existent in the XVI century, it had some works of restoration in 1616. The inside, with one nave, has the altar in stucco, decorated with a beautiful canvas which represents the “Last Supper” by Astolfo Petrazzi. To the Confraternity belongs a rare processional banner of the XV century with the “Flagellation” and the “Crucifixion”, attributable to the sienese painter Carlo di Giovanni. The Confraternity keeps two stretchers of the XVI and XVIII centuries, wooden litters for carrying the dead, with the heads painted on both sides, which testify one of the most important service carried on from the brotherhood until nowadays.
