Middle route, half asphalt and half on dirt roads is very impressive. Starting from the parking lot closures, next to the bus stop, take right into the old road to Poggio to the nuns. Is immediately wanted to stop and watch one of the most beautiful landscapes of Crete: the desert in the middle of Accona with the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore. At the first fork to the left until the next proceeds to Asciano. From here, head straight for Buonconvento, encountering along the way: the Tower of Monte Oliveto, and Bollano San Nazario. When the valley floor to pave the way mentions, there is a junction on the left with a sharp bend to the Armenian Farm. Walking down this dirt road takes you right into Caprili. From here, turn left and continue on the dirt road to Pieve a Salti. This ancient road leading from the parish of Buonconvento Pava, where it joins the road which runs from Torrenieri to San Giovanni d'Asso. After a possible stop at the rest "The Trough", you can take to reach San Giovanni, facing a final steep climb. Here you can follow the little old town and visit the Museo del Tartufo. Leaving the village, take the road to Asciano, enjoy the beautiful surrounding landscape. At the first intersection between roads, turn left going back to square one.
