BUONCONVENTO
Dettagli
Lunghezza del percorso: 32,4 km
Tipologia del fondo: Misto Asfalto/sterrato
Difficoltà : Medio-alta
Route mostly on dirt roads quite difficult for steep hills that constitute it.
It starts from the walls of Buonconvento, where there is great possibility of parking lots, crossing the Via Cassia. It now faces a steep climb and then the first asphalt road that leads to Pieve a Salti. It proceeds on the ups and downs and bends in the countryside until you reach the junction with the road that leads from San Giovanni in Torrenieri. After a short stretch of asphalt for Torrenieri, turn right taking a dirt road through a steep climb towards Castelverdelli, a large brick castle of which there are surprisingly no historical data. From here we descend rapidly, amid rows of cypress trees, back to the province and you soon reach Torrenieri.
At the junction of the church, turn right through the village and then turn left before reaching the junction north of the new Cassia. From here we continue to climb through fields and farms in Montalcino, until you find the road that connects directly to this resort Buonconvento. Turn right and proceed downhill to the junction with the Cassia, which is located near the industrial area of Buonconvento. Here you turn left along the short stretch that leads us quickly to the point of departure.Route mostly on dirt roads quite difficult for steep hills that constitute it.
