It starts from the village of Mucigliani following the sign "Transient Site". This first section, particularly for the spectacular views offered and the path that runs through fields of wheat, can be traveled only during the dry season because it is entirely of clay. Then, once you get to the Leonine, osservazionedel extraordinary point of view of Siena.
From here the road becomes gravel after two kilometers and reach the tarmac road and turn right towards Arbia. Arrived at the level crossing, turn right and continue for a cottage for a few miles to the station in the plains of Castelnuovo. Then still on the asphalt, it continues to Torre a Castello steadily but slightly uphill.
Qu turning right, we continue to travel along a dirt road and then touching Monte Sante Marie, after a continuous succession of descents and climbs very challenging, we arrive at Asciano.
