Path to be made possible in the afternoon to observe that splendid sunsets can be observed after reaching the heights between Montalceto and Pecorile. The departure from the old shed is right next to the bridge of the mills, the provincial Asciano-San Giovanni d'Asso. There is a space where you can park. Just started on the path towards the provincial San Giovanni, turn left onto a dirt road uphill, through a series of farms reaches Poggiopinci. From here, going around the farm continues to Montalceto along on the right: the ruins of the old spa active until the first half of last century and then a grove where they were found, about 50 years ago, not 7 Etruscan tombs desecrated. Going uphill, you reach the farm of Old Montalceto Hague. From here, turn right and soon after left, walk along a partially paved road used for transhumance herds that once led from the Valdichiana Maremma. At the end of this suddenly comes to Podernuovo, the highest point of the path, from which you can see a panorama of sight on Crete. Immediately after the road is paved from Asciano leads to Trequanda. Turn right and after few meters turn right to walk along a long stretch of paved road downhill. After several stops to admire the scenery, you return back to the starting point.Path to be made possible in the afternoon to observe that splendid sunsets can be observed after reaching the heights between Montalceto and Pecorile.
