The farmhouse “Poggio d’Arno” is dipped into the heart of Crete Senesi, one of the few unexplored places of the Tuscan country and rare example of a landscape which has not been changed yet or denaturalized in its country essence of the tourism. Place of inspiration for the poet Mario Luzi, who in one of his numerous verses recites: “ Crossed Siena, crossed the Arbia’s bridge, there is She, the land of light, which, even if it is far, always inseparably come with me”, an unreal landscape which changes at any season, from the cold and magic winter, to the emerald green of the spring, from the golden colour of June, to the grey and red of the autumn. The holiday in a farmhouse in the Crete Senesi offers you the contact with nature and the relaxation of the country life. You could also visit the near villages of Montalcino, Pienza, Bagno Vignano, Montepulciano, Siena, San Gimignano, all no more than one hour far. The farmhouse” Poggio d’Arno” is the fruits of a careful work of restructuring of an ancient farmhouse where 40 years ago lived two sharecroppers’ families. From the vast farmhouse took shape 3 splendid apartments: “Primula”, Papavero”, “Fiordaliso”. “Primula” is the smallest one and consists in a wide kitchen/living room, which is typical of Tuscan farmhouses, a double room, a single room and a bathroom with shower; “Papavero” is the biggest one and it consists in a wide kitchen/living room, 2 double rooms, a single room and 2 bathrooms; “Fiordaliso” is on two floors: on the first floor there is the kitchen/living room and on the second floor 2 double rooms with a bathroom. Every apartment has its own external table with its own barbecue, to guarantee the highest privacy and relaxation. The fantastic swimming pool, from which you can enjoy a wonderful panorama over the Crete Senesi, allows you to dive into the magic sensation of swimming among the clay hills.
